Hello good morning, weekend is finally here, and although I work on Saturday, knowing that I will have a beach sunday, leaves me pretty excited! Today I want to share with you some ideas on rustic spaces. A few weeks ago a client, sought our advice, here at the store, to renew the atmosphere of his restaurant. As the concept and the restaurant’s menu changed, he also wanted to change the space, a “cozy rustic” feel is what he was searching for. The renovations had already begun, and by the time he come to me, wall paint color was is doubt, the space already had a rustic stone on the wall and a series of other existing features that led me to suggest white! And the first reaction was disbelief! I insisted, he doubted, I explained, and he was converted! I tried to point him, the benefits of white, even in rustic spaces, after all the word “cozy” was the request. White is absolutely superb in rustic decor, update the spaces, and gives them lightness, don’t you think?

I want to post some pictures of the space, because although the sapce hasn’t got “this almost scandinavian feel”, because it´s going to have tapas and fado, points to the fact, that rustic decor dosen’t have to be made with pine wood furniture, corn cobs, or dry flowers arrangements! Love, have a nice weekend!
